Past weekends videos from Seattle. How Amazon supports crime of its employees

Publishing these only now while staying in NY

  1. Hope you were able to find medical care after they stopped your insurance while on medical leave. There're community state-sponsored free clinics in many cities where you can get care and document the consequences of abuse by Amazon. Regarding not being able to speak on their (pivot? PIP?) program - hope you'd filed government complaint earlier, which would place you under whistleblower protection and HR would be more afraid to mess with you.

    1. Thank you for your comment. Yes, I filed complaint to State. And Amazon retaliated even after that. They have serious liability

    2. Bad for them that they retaliated - hopefully, you'll win your case or they'll agree to out of court settlement. Most of people on visa tend to be silent and scared of the employer, that's why they retaliated - they thought they can do anything without repercussions. Watch your back closely, though, and protect yourself.

    3. Amazon always retaliate. By "legal" and illegal (criminal) means. But I can do something they can't. I can stay at their heart, at their headquarters and tell the true and unionize their employees. Amazon will not sustain if all the employees will unionize.

  2. Saying they're good people in a bad system....it's like saying Stalin's or Hitler's executioiners or concentration camp guards are good folks stuck in a bad system. No good person would work for HR in these fascist companies; there're a lot of alternative careers for them. It takes a special type of 100% fake personality to work for US big corp HR (including ability to look nice and innocent to the victim - but these nice people will stab you in the back without blinking an eye)

    1. Let's say in other way. Some of them were like that. But some of them became as a result of the system. Like a good student in bad school. The real example is myself. I don't feel myself bad. Nevertheless I applied for Amazon job and got the offer. If I would not oppose I would become like they. And most people do not oppose because the still need to feed families and pay the mortgage.

    2. Yeah, I know the smooth talking "friendly" type of corporate HR or other adversary... they even sound compassionate.... while they're trying to find the way to make you into the "wrong" party, to get you to say something they can use against you, or figure out how much evidence you really got on them, to get you let your guard down, etc. They don't need to openly oppose that system if they are afraid, can just quit as they're forced to do harm...but HR work is alway the work against employees and in the interests of the company - it's mostly the core of any oppression and bad atmosphere in the company, this is their very nature. Their big task is to instill fear. Kind of like Stasi police in big tech companies. Your role is engineering...which is not to oppress and control others unlike HR...Chosing HR profession...let's just say they know what they're getting into.
And really - with all the education, effort and skill required for engineering - live being terrorized by someone like the "HR types" is degrading.
